Board Chair: Annie Grogan
Annie has 20+ years of professional human resources experience working in top Fortune 500 companies. Half of her HR career has been spent in Generalist roles overseeing corporate human capitol strategies that varied from HR Generalist to HR Director. The other half of her career has been spent working as Department Head for Staffing and Recruiting teams. In this capacity she worked in multiple high visibility roles such as Recruiting Supervisor, Corporate Recruiter, Recruiting Project Manager for International Expansion and Enterprise Diversity Recruiting Strategy. She has worked for global and national organizations such as The Texas Employment Commission, Pepsi-Cola, Sallie Mae, Best Buy, Co., and Coach, Inc. Annie serves in multiple roles with organizations throughout her community related to business and topics impacting the Latino Community. She completed an ROTC program during her undergraduate years and has a degree in Secondary Education, from the University of Puerto Rico, and is a 10 year US Army veteran where she served as a Commissioned Officer in the Logistics field serving on assignments stateside and in Europe.
Vice Chair: Lennys Campos
Lennys Campos is the CEO of Campos Consulting Inc. She is a trusted advisor to her clients and has assisted them to improve and optimize their operations and achieve challenging goals. Lennys has 22+ years of industry and management consulting services experience, utilizing continuous improvement and lean methodology to effect positive change management across organizations, while working with high impact teams during strategic implementations. She has worked with a significant number of clients globally and across industries, including aerospace, automotive, food and beverages, pharmaceuticals, technology, business process outsourcers (BPOs) and consumer entertainment. Her successful track record of developing and implementing improvement programs from accounting processes to supply chain management, have delivered millions of dollars in cost savings and operational efficiencies for her clients. She has held senior management positions at Ernst and Young LLP, Arizona Chemical, FinMetrix Group, and REL Consultancy Group. She also worked as an Electrical and Computer Engineer in research and development for IBM and as Associate Engineer for the US NAVY. Lennys has an MBA in International Business from the University of Connecticut and a Bachelor in Science in Computer and Electrical Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico.
Treasurer: Jacqueline Williams
"Jackie" Williams is a highly accomplished financial and accounting professional with over fourteen years of expertise in accounting, operations, finances, strategic planning, administration, and leadership. Jackie owns her own accounting firm and is currently the Chief Financial officer for Battery Marketing Associates, Inc., a global manufacturer and distributor of batteries. Jackie's success and expertise are derived from her progressive and divers financial roles primarily in the manufacturing and logistics industries. She has a Bachelor of Science degee in Biological Sciences and Accounting from Florida State University.
Secretary: Eliana Franco
Eliana Franco is an Operations Analyst for JEA with focus in Market Research and Data Analytics. She has over 20 years of experience in the IT Industry with core competencies in Product Line Management and Marketing Operations in multinational environments. Her career includes technical and marketing assignments at Xerox Corporation and OKI Data Americas, subsidiary of OKI Electric of Japan. Eliana holds an Industrial Electrical Engineering degree from the Centro Federal de Educação Tecnológica do Rio de Janeiro and a MBA from the Rochester Institute of Technology. Eliana was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and is fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish. She has served on the Board of the Hispanic Association for Professional Advancement at Xerox Corporation and volunteered for the American Red Cross. She currently serves our community through many volunteering activities on behalf of JEA.
Marketing Director: Manny Torres
Manny Torres is a Creative Director with over 12 years experience in the Advertising and Marketing industry. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from North Carolina State University. At Rock My Image, Manny oversees the branding process translating a client’s unique difference into a visual message that makes them stand out from the crowd and gains attention. He serves as the Brand Manager for all Rock My Image accounts ensuring consistency and “punch” across all digital platforms as well as print mediums. Manny is also a Certified Marketing Automation Specialist which is a category of technology that allows companies to streamline, automate, and measure marketing tasks and workflows, so they can increase operational efficiency and grow revenue faster. He is currently serving as President of a local Business Networkers International (BNI) chapter and prides himself on being a business connection builder for agency clients and those that know him personally and professionally.
Director Educational Programs: Brooke Goehring
Brooke Goehring is Director of the Nova Southeastern University Jacksonville Campus, with nearly fourteen years of experience in higher education. Prior to joining NSU, Brooke served in various roles at Edison State College and the University of Central Florida striving to empower students to achieve their personal and professional goals. Throughout her career she has developed a passion for career and personal development through training, coaching and mentoring. She holds a Master of Science in College Student Affairs from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies from the University of Central Florida. Brooke is also active in the Florida Diversity Council Jacksonville Chapter serving as Co-Chair of the Education Committee.
Director: Corporate Relations
Vicky Pagan is a senior executive with a proven track record leading strategic marketing and consumer insights organizations for Fortune 100 corporations across several industries globally. Her career includes leading roles with Citibank, Young & Rubicam, RJR-Nabisco, BMS-Mead Johnson Nutritionals, FDC-Western Union and GE Energy, among others. Most recently, Vicky is VP Brand Strategist for the Brand Building Group, helping clients develop their brand story to reinforce the connection with their consumers. She successfully applies insights tools – qualitative and quantitative to assess branding situation and specific ways to develop a strong brand strategy. Vicky has a degree in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Puerto Rico. She is a Certified Market Research Professional and a Certified Competitive Intelligence Professional.
Director: Education, University Relations
Meredith Moore is the Instructional Program Manager of the English for Speakers of Other Languages Program at Florida State College at Jacksonville, which serves over 1000 non-native English speakers in Jacksonville every 2 months, year-round. She comes from a background of instruction in higher education as in such diverse university settings as Al Akhawayn University in Morocco, Universidad Espiritu Santo in Ecuador, and Universidad Catolica del Norte in Chile. She holds an MA in Applied Linguistics from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida, and a BA in English Literature from University of Dayton, in Dayton, Ohio.
